Pikachu, I choose you!

I always forget how much I love Pokemon.
I'm watching the very first series again.

Subliminal messaging...

I swear, these shoes are the subject of at least one in five of the adverts on every website I visit.
I've seen them on myspace, facebook and hotmail constantly the past couple of weeks.
I liked them when I first saw them, but now, I REALLY want them.

Congratulations Office. Your strategically placed repetitive advertising works.
And I probably would spend all the money I have saved on these shoes, were it not for the fact you have not only chosen to make them with leather, (which I'm not overly keen on, but understand it usually means better quality shoes and more wear so sometimes it's just tough really) but also chosen to line them with pigskin. D:

So now there's a moral dillema over price and the fact they are probably about 95% dead animal vs. how absolutely yummy they are.

I mean...if I don't buy them...someone else will. And the poor piglets will have been killed just to be worn by someone who won't love them half as much as I would...

Ohhhh :(
I'm a terrible vegetarian.

Nineteen, you're only nineteen for god's sake.

New year's resolutions,
because it'll be a new year for me soon. :)

x.I'd like to be more organised.
Maybe not so far as drawing up a timetable, but definitely having daily targets of things to complete, and sticking to them.

x.Keep a sketchbook journal.
I don't draw or paint ever recently, and I'd like to start taking more photographs, so keeping a diary/sketchbook will hopefully encourage me to do these things more often.

x.Get a regular sleep pattern.

x.Start building up a portfolio/start presenting ideas properly.
I need to keep a sketchbook for ideas and go through a proper design process of research, sketches, material tests and stuff like that so I can do things with a more organised approach and not be so disheartened if it doesn't come out exactly how I hoped the first time. I can document it, lean from it and try again.

x.Get better at web design so I can apply for jobs like this:
http://www.dazeddigital.com/Info/article/3421/1/Web_Jobs_At_Dazed

I'll probably add to this as I think of new things ^-^

Buhrfday wishlist plz k thnx...

The big one nine is fast approaching. And I am preparing myself for the question I can never answer because by the time parents/grandparents ask I've forgotten about all the stuff I've seen in shops and fallen in love with ^-^.
"Is there anything you want for your birthday?"
Well yes actually there is...

I've already ordered these two on behalf of my mum and Jack (I did run it past them first) cause I don't think they're going to be available much longer and if I don't get them soon they'll be gone forevs! D: AND they've all got about £10 off.
Yes that's right. I ordered my own birthday presents ahha. No, I didn't think I could get any more lame either.

1. Bubble machine! Not necessarily this one, but I can't find a decent toy one for sale on a UK website. And this one seems pretty epic. (that bit of vocabulary is from playing too much WoW. :|)

2. Polka dot Topshop dress/a dress I think is exactly the same but £15 cheaper.

3.Harlequin sequin dress. I'm not 100% sure about this one. I love the harlequin diamond pattern/sequins but the colours aren't in a proper repeat pattern which makes it look messy. I know that's really stupid but it'd bother me. ahha.

4.Grey Acid Pull on JeansThey're basically leggings that look like jeans. Which I would have killed for back when I couldn't find any skinny jeans skinny enough for my twiggy legs aha. But they're actually such a puuuurfect idea. I want lots of them. But they're quite expensive. (there's a cheap version here but they're not as nice.)

5.Insight Nebular Panda One Piece.

6.Any of these plz!
Hamtaro

Panda kigurumi

Pikachu

Cat

Skeleton

7.Mickey Mouseketeer hat. I've ALWAYS wanted one of these

8.Navy (lol) Sailor dress.

9.Me & Zena TV necklace.

10.Me & Zena Love-o-meter necklace/earrings.

11.Puzzle Bobble DS

12.Vivian Westwood Melissa shoes. I want all of them but the ones with the hearts are the cutest and they've sold out of 5's :( I like the Mary Janes and the 3 strap's which they've got in a 5, but they're even more expensive. There was a pair of the Ultragirl flats in Urban Outfitters at Bluewater. They really do smell of Bubblegum. ♥

Things that didn't make the cut cause they're unrealistic/expensive: Trip to Japan, Laser cutter, Giant Totoro plush, Emma Cook for Topshop solouteverywherebutebay boots, Cuddle-a-panda trip, Ice cream van. Nintendo DSi (not quite as unaffordable as a trip to Japan but not really worth the money cause we've got an original DS that works fine. ^-^)

& There's a bunch of CD's that I own crap downloaded versions of and would like proper copies of, and cartoon series' that I'd like to own/own more of too.
Obviously I'm not expecting all of this haha.
Infact I'm not actually expecting any of it. I just like making lists. ^-^

I really love this song.

I remember waking up on a Sunday morning one Summer, to my Dad playing his old LP's downstairs. He's got lots of records stacked up around his house that he recovered from the attic when he moved out. There's lots of punk, some two tone Ska, and some later 80's stuff like Japan, there's lots of good'uns. I've spent days going through them and listening to them and still haven't seen even half of his collection. But this was one of the songs he put on that morning.
It's been at the back of my mind ever since. I didn't know the name of it, but after googling any of the lyrics I could remember, I finally found it on youtube. xx

FFS.

Things I want to do but probably shouldn't...

x. Dye my hair blue.
x. Get my septum pierced.
x. Get my first tattoo.

I've been thinking about trying to find a model for Boo cause I'd like to get the t-shirts & some of the rest of our stuff photographed on someone Vice/Nylon/Cobrasnake style.

We've had people offer on Myspace, but they're all over the place, and I don't think we'd be able to arrange anything profesh enough to make it worth their while coming all the way down here ^-^.
& My people skills/rep. with the Medway massive is shit, so the chances of me approaching someone from round here are about zero.

I might just restart the hunt for some Breakfast at Tiffany's style animal masks so you can't see my face in the pics. ^-^

GGGOOOOOOGGGLLLEEE

I know I'm a massive geek for it, but I love the special google logo's they have occasionally.
I just love google really. I think they should be in charge of the world. Or Arnold Schwarzenegger, I think he'd do pretty good job too. (Twins is on ^-^)

I really want to play Tetris now...
